6.6. Participants will be informed of their confirmed voting arrangements and will have an opportunity to prepare their profiles and promote their entries.
6.7. Once voting opens, friends, family, supporters, members of the public and contestants themselves may vote, subject to the published voting rules.
6.8. The first public voting stage is intended to run for three weeks. The applicable opening and closing dates will be communicated separately.

6.11. Attendance at the organised photoshoot is optional.
6.12. Participants who do not wish to attend may submit suitable professional photographs of their own or work with a photographer of their choice, provided the images satisfy the Promoter’s requirements and are submitted by the applicable deadline.
6.13. Any applicable photography, hair, makeup, editing or other service charges will be communicated before a booking is confirmed.

Stage 4 – Final Online Voting (Semi-Final)
6.16. Selected photographs will be used in a further round of online voting to determine which contestants progress to the live final.
6.17. Voting will be conducted in accordance with the arrangements published by the Promoter.
6.18. Where paid voting applies, the price per vote and applicable voting rules will be communicated before votes are purchased.

6.22. Attendance at the live final is mandatory for finalists who wish to complete the final stage and remain eligible for selection as a main calendar winner.
6.23. Contestants who are unable to attend should notify the Promoter as soon as reasonably practicable. Failure to attend may affect their eligibility for selection as a main winner.
6.24. Voting will take place at the live event in accordance with the arrangements communicated by the Promoter. Friends, family, supporters and members of the public may participate in voting, subject to the applicable rules.
6.25. Twelve main winners will be selected for the official UK Calendar Girls calendar. In addition, six winning reserves will be guaranteed a position in the calendar, as specified in Section 7.

7.3. The UK Calendar Girls calendar is sold throughout the United Kingdom and distributed internationally, including through shipments to customers around the world.
7.4. The six winning reserves are guaranteed a position in the official UK Calendar Girls calendar. All six reserves will appear together on one shared calendar page.
7.5. The six winning reserves are not additional main winners and are not entitled to the official winners’ trophy by virtue of their reserve status.
7.6. The prizes described in this section are the only prizes offered under the Competition. No cash prizes, holidays, additional gifts, guaranteed sponsorship payments or other benefits are included.
7.7. A position in the calendar does not guarantee income, commercial modelling work, sponsorship payments or any other financial return.
7.8. Winners and reserves must cooperate reasonably with the Promoter in arranging the photographs, personal information and other materials required for calendar production.
7.9. Winners and reserves must meet reasonable submission deadlines and comply with the applicable image requirements and any relevant agreements concerning photography and image use.
7.10. If a winner or reserve becomes unable or unwilling to fulfil the essential requirements for calendar production, the Promoter will consider the appropriate arrangements in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.
7.11. The Promoter will communicate the outcome of the Competition and the arrangements for winners and reserves through its official communication channels.
8. VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION AND WITHDRAWAL

8.4. Contestants may withdraw from the Competition at any stage by providing written notice to info@ukcalendargirls.co.uk.
8.5. Following receipt and processing of a withdrawal notice, the Promoter may remove the contestant’s profile from active participation and discontinue any future voting or progression arrangements applicable to that contestant.
8.6. Withdrawal does not ordinarily entitle a contestant to a refund of the application fee or payments already made. Any refund will be considered in accordance with these Terms and applicable statutory rights.
8.7. A contestant who withdraws, declines a mandatory stage or fails to meet an essential requirement may no longer be eligible to progress or receive a prize.
9. SPONSORSHIP AND PROMOTION
9.1. The Promoter may invite winners and reserves to help promote sponsorship opportunities for their individual calendar pages.
9.2. Promotional activity may include sharing sponsorship information, communicating with prospective sponsors and promoting the relevant sponsorship opportunity through social media or other suitable channels.
9.3. Winners and reserves are asked to participate reasonably in promoting sponsorship opportunities to help secure support for the calendar.
9.4. Obtaining sponsorship is not a requirement for a winner or reserve to retain their position in the calendar.
9.5. A contestant will not lose their winner or reserve status solely because they have been unable to secure a sponsor.
9.6. Where a winner or reserve does not obtain sponsorship, the Promoter will seek to arrange sponsorship for the relevant page where reasonably possible.
9.7. Contestants are not required to guarantee that a sponsor will be secured or to pay sponsorship money personally.

10.10. If no receipt is received, the voter should check their email folders and payment status. The absence of a receipt may indicate that the payment or vote has not been processed successfully.
10.11. A payment receipt does not override the Competition rules relating to invalid, duplicate, fraudulent or otherwise ineligible votes.
Vote Refund Policy
10.12. Votes are ordinarily non-refundable once successfully purchased and processed.
10.13. This policy does not exclude any refund or other right that a voter may have under applicable law, including where a payment has been taken incorrectly or a statutory remedy applies.

13.4. The Promoter may also take appropriate action where a contestant knowingly publishes false and defamatory allegations about UK Calendar Girls or its staff.
13.5. Nothing in these Terms prevents a contestant from making a genuine complaint, expressing a lawful opinion, reporting suspected wrongdoing or exercising their legal rights.
13.6. Where reasonably practicable, the Promoter will notify the contestant of the concern and provide an opportunity to respond before making a final decision, except where immediate action is reasonably necessary.
13.7. Any decision to disqualify a contestant must be based on reasonable grounds and applied consistently with these Terms and applicable law.

14.3. Such purposes may include displaying contestant profiles, operating online voting, announcing results, promoting the Competition and producing and marketing the official calendar.
14.4. Personal information will be collected, stored, used and processed in accordance with the UK Calendar Girls privacy policy and applicable data protection legislation.
14.5. The Promoter may share relevant information with photographers, website providers, event organisers and other service providers where necessary to administer the Competition and produce the calendar.
14.6. Participants may exercise their applicable data protection rights by contacting the Promoter. However, a request to remove information or withdraw a permission may affect the participant’s ability to continue in the Competition or fulfil the requirements for calendar inclusion.
14.7. The Promoter will consider such requests in accordance with applicable data protection law and any other relevant legal obligations.

16. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
16.1. Participants grant the Promoter permission to use their submitted materials for Competition administration and promotion, subject to the permissions and agreements applicable to those materials.
16.2. Submission of an image does not, by itself, transfer copyright ownership where the participant or a third party retains that ownership under applicable law.
16.3. Participants must ensure that the Promoter has the necessary permissions to use submitted photographs and other materials for the purposes described in these Terms.
16.4. The UK Calendar Girls name, branding, logos, website content, Competition materials and associated intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.

19. TERMINATION AND COMPETITION DECISIONS
19.1. The Promoter may amend, suspend or terminate the Competition where reasonably necessary because of unforeseen circumstances, serious disruption, fraud, technical failure or other legitimate reasons, subject to applicable law and the rights of existing participants.
19.2. The Promoter may make reasonable adjustments to the Competition arrangements where required to preserve fairness, safety or the integrity of the Competition.
19.3. Decisions concerning eligibility, image suitability, progression, voting results and winner selection will be made in accordance with these Terms and the applicable rules.

22.2. Any waiver must be clear and will apply only to the extent expressly stated.
23. GOVERNING LAW
23.1. These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Competition will be governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory legal protections applicable to a participant.
